Pros: Excellent message; gets the message across; compelling story; concise; well written; good art work; excellent production value, with high-quality color pages, and a slick coated cardboard cover.Cons: Only 8 pages of actual content. Yes, it's concise, and it gets the job done, but it's a little TOO concise.
Also, I have the feeling that this will only work well with self-aware executives;
most ordinary people's blame-demons may be too strong for this technique to be effective. YMMV.
I would have liked to have seen about 20 pages, the length of an ordinary comic book.
Either that, or drop the price to $3.00.
Worth reading, though. I hope he comes out with more crunchy-bits comics.

Marshall provides a feedforward exercise in his seminars for the Institute for management Studies. This effective feedback tool focuses on the future ( what can I do tomorrow to improve) as opposed to the typical feedback process which looks at behavior , situations or actions in the past.
Examples and a how to guide is also available at marshall Goldsmith's web site which provides free resources for Leaders of the Future.
I'm a little surprised that Marshall would try this format. I doubt others will mimic this attempt at simplifying the message.
Not terribly illuminating. Not sure what he was going for here. His other works are much better, and far superior.
This is quite childish and is only worthwhile if you are teaching it to young kids...who might not have use for the info...why did he even produce this? The concepts are sound and Marshall Goldsmith is a gem...this is just...
A different way of thinking, feedforward can be a more effective than feedback...that many managers can benefit by quickly implementing.
Bit disappointed in this as it really feels like reading a comic book that has some good information in that style, but just not enough content to make it a worthwhile purchase.
